in 2020 my wife and i made the move from Chicago to Colorado. We wanted to have the ability to be closer to nature and get out in the wild more often. it was very tough leaving chicago, especially all of our incredible family and friends.
Like with any big move or change comes an adjustment towards your environment and way of life. Over the years though we have indeed found our blend. Enjoying what the City of Aurora/Denver has to offer, along with getting into the expansive wilderness of Colorado.
The wild gives me a sense of freedom, Space, humility, and smallness. While urban and city give an energy of community, togetherness, shared joy, and friendships.
Although these two settings are pretty opposite of one another - I am grateful to live a life surrounded by both. AS AN ARTIST MY goal is to capture, captivate, and invoke the wildly unique side of each.
